Before that Nokia BB5 phones could only be unlocked using network unlock codes. Nokia BB5 unlock codes are ONLY provided by network operators, at a customers request. The ease and cost of getting the codes varies from one operator to another and also depends on the type and length of contract signed with the customer.

We at PhoneShop UK are also able to provide unlock codes to unlock BB5 phones using our contacts with in the networks. For bulk unlocks this is a viable solution, but can be prohibitably expensive if you only need to unlock a single Nokia BB5 phone.

For sale on eBay and posted around the internet you may also find some applications named something like "Nokia BB5 Unlock Code Generator" or "Nokia BB5 Unlock Code Calculator". They are all FAKE random number generators and should be avoided at all cost.
